Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

This approach takes effect very quickly compared to many traditional models. Solution focused hypnotherapy is a modern, clinically proven approach to help you regain control and achieve positive change in your life. The model is based on the latest neuroscience. By understanding more about how our brains work we can make simple, effective changes in the way we think and therefore the way we feel. We concentrate on what you want for your future rather than dwelling on the problem.

Sessions are an enjoyable, positive experience.  We focus on what’s been good since the last session then discuss your goals and explore next steps and the wider possibilities, opening a whole new world.

And the hypno bit? Hypnosis or trance is very natural (and completely different from ‘stage hypnosis’). We go into trance many times a day when we find our mind wandering or daydreaming. In hypnotherapy, we use this perfectly natural state to help neuroplasticity along.  To end each session, I guide you to a state of relaxation where you can focus your attention on positive change that continues to take effect between sessions. You always remain in complete control and it feels great to relax so completely. I often think of as a brain hug!

1:1 Sessions

I work with clients on a 1:1 basis, either online or face to face – either option works very well to suit your preference and convenience. The number of sessions will vary from person to person. This can be assessed during the initial consultation.
